Our emergency towing and roadside services operate 24/7 unless otherwise noted.
Service availability may vary depending on weather, traffic, road closures, equipment, or driver availability.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone service for safety or compliance reasons.

3. Pricing & Payment

Pricing for towing, roadside assistance, storage, and additional services is provided at the time of service or upon request.

By requesting service, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with towing, recovery, storage, and labor

  • Pay any additional charges for unforeseen conditions (e.g., winching, accident recovery, extra labor, mileage beyond quoted range, after-hours fees)

  • Provide accurate billing information

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Vehicle Storage & Property

If your vehicle is stored at our facility:

  • Daily storage rates apply

  • Vehicles may not be released until all charges are paid in full

  • We are not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle

  • After the applicable state storage/abandonment period, vehicles may be processed in accordance with Pennsylvania law

Customers are responsible for removing valuables before tow or storage when possible.

5. Damage Liability

We take all reasonable precautions when towing and transporting vehicles.

However, Scutching & Sons LLC is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing vehicle damage

  • Mechanical failures unrelated to the towing process

  • Damage resulting from poor vehicle condition (e.g., rust, loose parts, leaking fluids, severe collision damage)

  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle

Any claim of service-related damage must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the completed service.

6. Customer Responsibilities

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are the registered owner of the vehicle, or you have legal authorization to request a tow

  • You provide accurate pickup and drop-off details

  • You disclose any safety hazards (e.g., broken steering, locked wheels, leaking fuel, stuck vehicle)

  • You follow driver instructions at pickup/drop-off locations

Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional fees.

7. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with site security or functionality

  • Copy or misuse any content, text, images, or branding

  • Use automated tools to access or collect website information

We reserve the right to update or remove website content at any time.

8. No Guarantee of Immediate Service
